New Septic System Needed at CYC
Donations needed!
We need your help! The Cuttyhunk Yacht Club needs a new septic system! In 2019 after 50+ years of service the existing cesspool failed and the residence is no longer habitable. We have an amazing team lined up to live and work at CYC in 2020, pending the installation of a new system (don’t forget, the residence bathroom also serves as a restroom for kids in the program).
Our goal is to raise $30,000 towards the cost of design and installation of a new system prior to June 1, 2020. You can donate using the "Donations" tab on our website. You can also add a donation when you purchase your Membership.
We have kept our membership and class fees low for many years to make an affordable and accessible program. In fact, all the money we make each summer from class registrations, memberships, and boutique sales goes towards running the program.
We are asking everyone to chip in to help us cover this significant, unexpected expense. Help us get back to work on doing what we do best: sailing, friendship, and fun!
